Our Story
AerialTours.com started as a simple online directory for helicopter tours, Bi-plane rides, and scenic flights. As lower cost HD videos became more prevalent on the web, we decided to add aerial videos to our directory.
Through customer requests we added online booking to our platform. After watching Online Travel Agencies (OTA’s) hoard most if not all profit margins from our tour operators, we decided be the better business. Through our advanced online booking and eCommerce platform, we are able to bring simple online booking to operators at an affordable price.
We will always continue to innovate this space, and provide better solutions for the air tour industry.
Our founder and CEO, Todd Davis has been in aviation since he was very young. It all started with gas powered RC aircraft, and quickly moved up to larger aircraft. Now as a ATP-Comm MEL and CFII, Todd is type rated in 3 different large transport category aircraft. Though general aviation is still his passion, especially introducing aviation to the general public through tours and flight instruction.
Throughout the ups and downs of the Aviation industry, he has been involved with technology start-ups. Using technology through the web to attract more people to the amazing general aviation world.
