ABOUT MOAB HELI X

Moab Heli X has the only helicopter-dedicated facility at Canyonlands Regional Airport. The facility was newly completed in 2018. We are the first hangar on the right as you enter the airport. There is dedicated parking in front of the hangar. We are the only facility that has direct access to the flight area right from your car. Our guests can walk across the parking lot from the main terminal to our facilities, or we can also meet you plane-side if you are flying private.

The Moab Heli X base has a comfortable air conditioned lobby and lounge with restrooms, kitchen, cable and streaming TV, high speed internet, and an outdoor viewing area. We have three dedicated helipads, well-spaced for safety.

Moab Heli X is a part of Lakeshore Charters, LLC, fully certified under FAA Part 91 and Part 135 for tours and charter flights.

Lakeshore Charters, LLC received its On-Demand Air Carrier Certification in 2010.
We do a mix of charter flights from Tours, Weddings, Executive travel to taking people out for dinner in the Chicago/Milwaukee area. We have the Robinson R44 and R66 in use as our charter aircraft. Lakeshore Charters is operating in Moab, Utah out of its dedicated helicopter facility at Canyonlands Regional Airport.

Lakeshore Helicopter, LLC, founded in 2008, does Flight Instruction, Aircraft Rental and Maintenance. They are a Robinson Helicopter Service Center. They also service Bell, Enstrom, Hughes, Schwitzer and Hiller Helicopters as well as a few airplanes. Both companies are based out of Kenosha Regional Airport.
